I delivered the Winnipeg Free Press to residents who lived at 220 Hugo when I was a little girl from 1977-1981. I remember the gentlemen from 4C and knew a family that lived in 7A. I remember other folks from other suites and babysat for one of the caretakers. I grew up just down McMillan Avenue and lived in the area from 1971-2000. My sister lived in 2B briefly in the late 80’s or early 90’s. Someday, I may live there. . I had a moving experience in 4C when it was for rent just after John passed in spring 2014. Was very pleased to have stumbled upon your content.

We lived in apt 5c. It was more like a house than an apartment. When my parents moved in rent was just over 100$ a month. My mom loved that building. She owned a house but rented it out because she preferred to stay at Pasadena Courts.

We managed the building from 1997-2006. Loved the 4 bedroom penthouse apartment. Both are children were born while we lived there. Had some great block parties and made some great life-long friends.
